Mostly bottle caps and cigarette butts along the high tide line. Two bags before the rain started.

Found a tangle of fishing line wrapped around driftwood. Cut it up and bagged it so birds can't get caught.

Busy weekend left a lot behind: cans, food wrappers, a single flip-flop. Looks much better now.

Quiet morning sweep. Small plastics mostly, the kind you only see when you crouch down.

Storm washed up a lot of foam pieces near the rocks. Got most of it with a sieve.

Broken glass near the path, so watch your step. Cleared what we could find.

Plastic bags caught in the dune grass. Took a while to untangle them without damaging the plants.

Short one after work. One bag, mostly straws and lids from the snack bar.

Water bottles, a deflated beach ball, and about a hundred bread tags. Where do they all come from?

Low tide showed a line of bottle caps we would have missed. Filled a whole jar with them.

School group joined us today. Thirty pairs of hands make short work of a long beach.

A lot of rope and net fragments after the swell. Heavy bag, worth it.

Picked up around the bins where the wind scatters everything. Lids, cups, napkins.

Sunrise sweep before the crowds. Mostly cans and cigarette butts from last night.

Found three single-use barbecues tucked behind the rocks. Carried them out with the rest.

Microplastics along the wrack line again. Slow work with a sieve, but the sand looks right now.
